Sad Sundays 2

Here is a sad song by the Goo Goo Dolls called Iris.

And I’d give up forever to touch you,
Cause I know that you feel me somehow.
You’re the closest heaven that I’ll ever be,
And I don’t want to go home right now.

And all I can taste is this moment,
And all I can breathe is your life,
And sooner or later it’s over,
I just don’t want to miss you tonight.

And I don’t want the world to see me,
Cause I don’t think that they’d understand.
When everything’s made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am.

And you can’t fight the tears that ain’t coming,
Or the moment of the truth in your lies.
When everything feels like the movies,
Yeah you bleed just to know you’re alive.

And I don’t want the world to see me,
‘Cause I don’t think that they’d understand.
When everything’s made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am.

And I don’t want the world to see me,
Cause I don’t think that they’d understand.
When everything’s made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am.

And I don’t want the world to see me,
Cause I don’t think that they’d understand.
When everything’s made to be broken,
I just want you to know who I am.

this is one of their greatest songs, which is saying a lot because almost everything they touch turns to gold (except the song slave girl)http://personalityatwar.blogspot.com/2007/11/iris.html

Love this song! when I was in highschool I would play it over and over again to let my parents know I was pissed off with them ;-)

sonnyvsdan: I am not a huge fan of their new stuff but that album was one of my favourites ever.Tamara: I loved it in highschool too, except that it reminded me of a boy and made me all sad.
