No no no yes yes yes.

The BFG bought us Articulate, like 30 Seconds, only better. Best game ever!

So far, just fooling around with the two of us:

BFG: What is that plant, that I sing in the National anthem, the  green plant?

Me: um, a bit more specific please?

BFG: the one with leaves?

Me: right, well that narrows it down.

(apparently to remember the English part of the National anthem, the only part he cannot remember (??), he sings “Lettuce live and strive…”)

BFG: ok, it’s that comedienne in the TV series with the priest and the guy who says “no no no no yes yes yes”

Me: oh the Vicar of Dibley, crap can’t remember her name.

BFG: Francis Drake!

Me: Um….

Francis Drake is a man. And he is dead. A dead male English sea captain from long ago. (looking on wikipaedia at this point).

Day one and I already killed myself laughing. Talk about value for money.

    Teeehheeee Sounds super fun.

I adore board/bored games. Tickles me senseless. I always mindfart when a guy I like is around me. It’s weird but it happens.

Paula: haha bored games ;) I love them too. I hate all strategy games like chess with a passion, but word games I love so much.

Tamara: well, it is pretty much 30 seconds, but with fewer random celebs (our 30 seconds game has all these 90s saffa celebs and we cant remember who they are any more! LOL) and more variety in the types of things you describe. They categorise them into things like objects, world, nature, people. But the people are more likely to be historical figures. Some of them are too hard though cos they are obscure British things and British names for things, but mostly it is ok. If you land on a nature block on the board, you need to guess as many nature category words as you can in the allocated time.
